2004-2005 Minutes Minutes Archive

September 12th, 2002

In attendance: Mike, Kristine, Bobby, Tom, Heather, General Taylor, Dawn, John, Colin

7:30 - Meeting begins.

7:37 - The group introduces themselves to the new member Mike. Mike seems particularly impressed by General Taylor.

7:45 - Last weeks minutes recapped. Taylor to put up a blank template on the web site of the permission form, very handy.

7:48 - Menu for camp planned. Rob takes down the menu so the secretary doesn't need to. So don't ask me about it. Kt would prefer not to eat meat, so we plan around her.

7:59 - We need to find out if Kt is going full veggie, or just does not want any red meat.

8:01 - This is just a reminder for Kristine to make cookies for the mug up on Friday night or the General will be very disappointed.

8:03 - Colin's time to shine. Canoeing is discussed. The Oct 4th weekend is going to be our launch date. Find out if that's good for you. That's an order.

8:06 - Heather's got a flat bed that we could use. Yippee. Ask any friends or well wishers who you could black mail into giving us a trailer. We need help with this. By Sunday e-mail any results or leads to the group.

8:13 - We need to get two maps for the group. Tom lives close so Rob volunteers him. Colin will scan and e-mail some little maps to us of Sucker lake.

8:17 - Colin tries to figure out where the key hole on babies is located.

8:18 - We need to give a full information sheet to everyone with all our dates and locations included to make sure that if we get lost, we never get into a sort of Lord of the Flies situation. (I recommend John and Tom as Simon and Piggy. The General of course will be Jack).

8:21 - Dawn to take care of the information sheet. Kristine: Talk to Kt (keep her away from those dirty smokers).

8:24 - Colin travels three months into the past.

8:25 - Dehydrated menu items for canoeing. Cheesey Chilly Pasta. Dehydrated Hot Dogs (that's the General's idea so we all agree it's great). Fruit stuffs. Buddy Burners (your guess is as good as mine…well not really, I'm superior), Pita Pizza's (Mmmmmm…), Colin breaks Dawn's little fantasy bubble, ( I try to get Kristine to feel my legs), Fried Oatmeal, Fahita's (Kristine hates Mexicans), Mexican rice, Banana chips, Chowder and Dumplings.

8:38 - Meteorologist Colin gives us an overview of the weather.

8:42 - We realize what great campers we are after we finish planning where we will sleep in our cars on the first camp night.

8:45 - We finalize some menu planning. Oatmeal 'und fruit for breakfast, Grape nuts. Stoners (hehe) for lunch, bagels. Rob's a big…fat.

8:52 - Meeting adjourned.
