December 7th, 2002
In Attendance: John, Dawn, Rob, Josh, Michelle, John, Kristine, Tom, Mike, Heather, and Colin
7:30 - Rob takes up the topic of fundraising and says to bring in Ultra Mart tapes.
7:33 - Dawn comes up with the idea of a bottle drive and that we should invade people's homes to take bottles. Some troop raised too much money selling donuts, so this year they want to share with other groups.
7:35 - Colin arrives tardy, way to set an example! Kristine talks of her infatuation with ketchup.
7:36 - Proposal to change date of the December 13th party. The rest of the group says "TOO BAD!" to Thomas.
7:38 - Investigating December 14th for the party, everyone e-mail if they're able to go then.
7:39 - Snow moot discussed, Kristine is amused by the word. Simple things amuse simple minds.
7:41 - Discuss where the winter camp will be with the help of John's diagrams. A new idea of Heather's cottage is thrown in; she will give us more info via e-mail.
7:48 - Heather's cottage gets changed to bring a friend to camp because Colin's being a stickler and making us winter camp in tents.
7:52 - The big district Winter Camp discussed. Heather can't read calendars.
7:54 - The dogsled course will be über boss!
7:56 - Kristine is touching John in undisclosed places. Heather has the idea of Sweden for the BIG TRIP, due to the high amount of chocolate.
7:58 - Colin takes advantage of Taylor's absence and says, "Taylor sucks!"
7:58:1/2 - Upon further study it appears that Taylor does not infact "suck"...rather it would seem that Colin is just trying to make himself feel better by putting others down...forshame.
7:59 - MSN Messenger is too advanced for Kristine.
8:01 - Let's go wall climbing!!!!! It'll be either Jan 11th, or the 18th.
8:04 - Back to the moot 2003, aimed for age 16+. Take that John and Thomas!
8:06 - Bring a friend to camp is discussed, sounds like it's going to be in March. Probably in a shelter or Heather's cottage.
8:10 - Tom isn't doing too well as minister of partying down. He doesn't understand the whole e-mail idea, Rob will have to force him by any means necessary.
8:12 - NOTE TO HEATHER AND DAWN: Winter camp meeting Tuesday. Everyone must look into being able to go to Area Youth Meetings on Wednesdays. If someone can't go, we need an extensive reason, instead of just, "homework." That means you Tom.
8:15 - Personal interest survey is worked on.
8:25 - Tom reads botany as "boatany" and thinks it has to do with power boating. John uses his extensive knowledge to tell him otherwise.
8:42 - Colin keeps saying we need ideas for the BIG TRIP. Heather talks about going to the fountain of youth. Kristine is still set on her big things trip.
8:44 - John has the great idea of discovering Atlantis. That would win the award Colin's always going on about.
8:45 - The idea of going to the zoo sometime is passed around.
8:49 - Colin tells of his drunken youth days.
8:52 - Meeting adjourned.
