May 1st, 2003

In attendance: Kristine, Rob, Heather, Tom, Dawn, Taylor, Michelle, John, Mike 7:30 - Meeting begins.

7:31 - Last weeks minutes are recounted.

7:42 - A problem with the scout raffle...the donation from pretty much all the sports stores in burlington is a dry well. Seems that they are all out of donatable items. Sounds pretty shady to me...but we will hit other sources to see where we can get some more items from.

7:45 - The puppy is discussed. Mike says everything is on track for krispy kream sale.

7:47 - Competition camp. Kristine still needs to make up an item list for the camp. She doesn't understand why she can't just use the list that Rob made. 24 groups should be making the trip up to camp. We have 3 other venturer troops to help out, but they really need some help getting started. So we will divy up the groups to three venturers to take charge of them and get them in order.

7:53 - Michelle, Tom, Heather will head up the venturer group supervision. There job is to whip the groups into shape so that they meet our immensely high standards...what?

7:56 - Wholesome family discussion is had. This is meeting is turning into a soap opera.

8:01 - The glow stick score sheet is looked at. It seems pretty solid so we will run with it as the base design and create the master copies.

8:02 - We have 9 apple juice cans collected, but we need more...but whatever could they be for?? I don't know.

8:03 - Some of the items on the gear list have been take care of, but more needs to be taken care of.

8:08 - Kristine and Heather will go shopping on Wednesday night.

8:12 - Groups will lose marks if they don't bring a shovel...so bring one!!

8:16 - Friends camp is looked at. The numbers game is discussed as we look at how many people will be able to come up. Janet thinks that everyone hates her...oddly enough, no one debates this...NO ONE.

8:18 - Kt thinks that Bill Rice's son is a looker.

8:19 - Kristine was harassed by a squirrel.

8:20 - The menu for friends camp is discussed. The addition of friends to the camp adds a new problem in the menu planning.

Secretary note: Please excuse the abrupt end to this weeks minutes. A venturere, who shall remain nameless *cough*kristine!*cough*, felt it wise to screw with the computer and thus the last few entires were deleated into oblivion.
