2004-2005 Minutes Minutes Archive

February 29th, 2004

Attendance: Heather, Tom, Colin, Dawn, Jodie, Sarah, Leah, John, Mike, Michelle

8:21- We pack for snow moot, John reads the minutes from the last two meetings. Actoin items covered are that the van rental for the big trip will cost us a deposit of $50. The banquet is Tuesday March 23rd, it starts at 6. It is a campfire theme so we have to put something together to do, Sarah and Leah are also going to put together a quick 2 minute presentation of our group; who we are, what we do, what we’re planning to do, etc. Colin e-mailed the CN Tower place and it is confirmed. Sarah will coordinate that, so talk to her if you want to go. Kristine still has to do the pilot script.

8:24- We talk about whether we want a 5x5m tarp or 3x4m tarp. We decide the small one would be better, but we’re going to call other places and ask about better prices.

8:31- John needs to add cutting boards to the group gear list for the big trip. Tom needs to pick up a toaster when he goes to get the nampha.

8:35- Heather will look into the Pepsi place in Mississauga for food grade barrels.

9:03- We look at a map of Ontario to see possible routes to take. Dawn will look at Leg 1 (B-Town to Ottawa), John will do Leg 2 (Ottawa to Temagami), and Tom will look at Leg 3 (Temagami to B-Town). You’re to look at different routes, sites along the way, time to leave and all that kind of stuff. It is due two weeks from now, make several ideas incase there’s something other people object to. If you are not one of those three people but you have an idea speak up.

9:07- Colin will not be here next week so we’ll have to have it at someeone’s house. Since Heather’s grounded and cannot leave her house she’s going to look at having the meeting at her house. If that doesn’t work it will be at John’s house.

9:14- Taylor is a baby.

9:15- Everyone has to look at a meal that we can have during the trip.

9:18- Heather’s “on the signs.”

Thought for the Week: If Barbie’s so popular why do you have to buy her friends? Even more: Why does Heaher remind us so much of Barbie?
