Finalize exact driving route
Determine canoe route (launching point & number of km/day)
John will make list of “big things” that will be visited so that they can be printed on the shirts
Long sleeved gray t-shirts with navy blue lettering will be ordered. Please email Heather with what size you will need, they will be adult sizes (small, med, large)
Next week’s meeting will be devoted to menu planning, it will be finalized for 9:00pm on the 20th
Gear list has been sent out. If you don’t have something that’s on it speak before Tuesday or forever hold your peace
Mosquito jackets are a MUST
Everyone should have at least one Nalgene. People with several may want to volunteer their’s for food storage.
Everyone should have at least one compression sac. More would be a good idea (hint hint)
A formal document has to be made up (by Colin) with the trip to Ottawa. John will call to find a spot to stay the night of the 1st and let Colin know to book it with his credit card.
Tom will check out concerts, events, and attractions in Ottawa for the evening of the 1st. John will cover the morning. Consider walking or driving distances
Heather will look into making 8” signs spelling out BIG TRIP in corrugated plastic, as well as the signs to go on the sides of the vehicles.
Colin will call 1-800-267-9166 to get us the video for white water rafting
Group gear: please add new pots to our shopping list, Jodie CANNOT burn herself again
Roof racks need to be constructed. Did someone have materials?<
Heather will make a permission form. Will anything other than the one on the Burlington website be needed?
Tents. Will we need to rent? Possible alternatives: Kris, John or the scouts’ small Coleman tent (Colin will check out)
